Shannon’s journey in care began at 17, when she first joined the residential team as a tea girl. Over the last decade, she has worked her way through almost every role in the home, giving her a hands-on understanding of what it takes to provide great care. Since becoming our Deputy Manager, she has used that experience to ensure everything at Eden House runs smoothly and warmly. With NVQ Levels 3 and 5, as well as advanced training in Safeguarding and Assessing Capacity, Shannon is well-qualified to oversee the daily well-being of our residents. She is particularly passionate about the "little things"—keeping the home clean, putting a smile on someone’s face—believing that a well-kept and friendly environment is key to a positive and fulfilling life for those we care for. Shannon’s main goal is to make sure the home feels like a happy, supportive place for both our residents and our staff. When she isn't at the home, Shannon loves baking, heading to music concerts, and relaxing with her husband and their two cats.
